Perhaps predictably, arrangements for consolidating the books into fewer storage locations have dragged. There's "palletizing," and the question of lift trucks, and confirming when trucks are coming, and who's to meet them...
Meanwhile, cleaning up the royalties mess keeps dragging along, as well. One would think that after notifying an author (or his estate) that you've worked up the account, and found that they have MONEY COMING to them-- they'd hasten to get you, say, a W-9 form so that you could send them a check. Amazingly enough, it isn't so.
